Welcome
to PACK 44's Home on the Web!!!
Pack 44 is a cub scout pack based in Manchester, New
Jersey. Cub Scouting is available to boys from
first-grade through fifth-grade, (seven through ten
years old) and their families. The Cub Scout program
uses a fun and challenging system to pursue the aims of
character development, citizenship training, and
personal fitness. The program is divided into age-based
programs of Tiger, Wolf, Bear and Webelos.
We have been with our chartered organization, Ridgeway
Firehouse in Manchester, New Jersey for over 40 years
and are part of the Whispering Pine District of the
Jersey Shore
Council.
Our pack meets the third Friday of every month at the
Manchester High School. There are different theme's each
month where the scouts participate in skits, songs and
lots of other fun activities. Our dens meet every week
at different times and the scouts have lots to do such
as crafts, games, sports, songs, stories and puzzles. We
also have annual events like: Blue & Gold Dinner,
Pinewood Derby, Space Derby, Raingutter Regatta, and
Pack Picnic.
However, it wouldn't be scouting if we did not go
camping! We have various camping trips organized by the
Pack, Den or Jersey Shore Council. Some of the great
camping trips we have gone on are: Family Camp, Beach
Jam, Webelos Adventure Camp, Summer Day Camp, Webelos
Fall Fellowship Camporee, Battleship New Jersey and
others.
Pack 44 is always looking for new scouts and if you
are interested please fill out this form and we will get
back to you as soon as we can.
Yours in Scouting,
